I've been checking out Proboards support site and it looks like servers 51-58 have been having issues lately, C19 is 53. Seems much better today, though.

Everything's working well for me tonight. Let's hope it stays that way.

It's still very slow for me today. It's especially slow if I try to make a post. :*£&: Guess that'll force me to keep quiet. :-[

I've found it impossible to get on for three days now. The only way I have been able to get on now is by using the new Google Chrome browser which is much faster that IE, Firefox or AOL.

Even so I had time to go to the loo whilst waiting for it to spring into life. I am getting withdrawal symptoms, just as lots of eager postings are like to appear from tomorrow onwards.

I've had a similar experience to Steph. It's fine during UK daytime, but once it gets to late afternoon, it's aggravatingly slow to load. [image]

How have things been today everyone? Apparently there was another DOS attack on Proboards yesterday which caused additional problems.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a DOS attack?

The board's been OKish for me today, rather slow and I've not been able to see the '25 most recent posts'. But as others have said, it's usually UK evening time when things get impossible. [image]

It's erratic for me, CC. It seems to be loading fast now, but a few minutes ago it was really slow. [image]

I Googled, VN. It's a Denial Of Service attack. Somebody deliberately tries to overwhelm the servers so that they won't work.
